Poverty and other social factors mean many Romanian children are left in orphanages. This program works with both abandoned children and mothers in crisis to reunite children with their families and keep families together. It provides:

• Basic needs, such as food, clothes and bedding
• Temporary crisis accommodation for new mothers and babies
• Extra care for children with special needs
• An emergency foster care network
• Training for staff and care-givers
• Support for families in poverty who might otherwise be forced to abandon their children.
